Rob ‘Bucket’ Hingely founded The Toasters in 1981 in New York, when he worked there in a comic store. The Toasters is one American first ’third wave’, 2-tone ska-bands, celebrating their 45 anniversary in 2026.
The band has had many line-ups through the years and Bucket is still touring all over the world. on a regular base.
In the US
The Toasters inspired many, many bands, musicians and people, all over the world, for more than 40 years.
I’m playing with The Toasters in Europe since 2016 and it’s amazing to play with great, dedicated musicians, on a roadtrip for 3, 4 or 5 weeks and playing 6 or 7 times a week. The best roadtrip ever, everytime ….
